ABOUT REGENERATION
 

Regeneration   is a company committed to the wellness of the mind, body, and spirit.  We believe that taking care of the body should be done mentally as well as physically.  Above all, you should embrace your playful spirits and have fun while becoming fit!  Freedom and ease in the body contributes significantly to a healthy and happy life.  Regeneration creates new ways to enhance health in the lives of everyday people.   Through the Regeneration DVD series, along with our private lessons and teacher trainings, our goal is to regenerate fatigued bodies and transform them into firm and flexible physiques.

ABOUT CARLY
 

Carly is a graduate of both the Connecticut School of Broadcasting and Kean University.  She holds a BA in English Literature and graduated magna cum laude.  Carly is also the director of Regeneration ™, an online corporation committed to making Yoga, Pilates, and overall wellness accessible to all people.    Through Regeneration ™, she has her own line of DVDs, has founded the Regeneration Institute of Pilates which certifies teachers in the classical style of Pilates mat, in addition to the Regeneration Institute of Yoga, a registered and approved school with the Yoga Alliance.    Carly has been teaching both Yoga and Pilates for ten years and hopes to continue to bring these practices into people’s homes and corporations.

 

Along with two other yoga teachers, Carly recently created Happy Tails Yoga- A Cause for Paws, an organization dedicated to helping homeless and needy animals.   She holds annual classes devoted to this cause in which one hundred percent of the proceeds go to the NJ ASPCA.

   

From the time when Carly was very young, healthy living has always played a huge role her life.  She began practicing yoga as a child through her mom, who taught children’s yoga. Carly is a certified 200 hour yoga teacher through Devalilia Yoga with Stefani Pappas and is a registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance.  Carly values all aspects of yoga including the physical, mental, and emotional benefits.  She has seen amazing changes in people through a regular yoga practice and teaches everyone to embrace their playful spirits and have fun while becoming fit! 

   

Carly’s love of Pilates began twelve years ago when she read that Pilates can help to cure chronic back pain by strengthening the core.  After just a few sessions, her back pain decreased significantly and she was hooked!   Carly was so intrigued with her increase in strength that she decided she wanted to share her experience with others.  Carly received her 700 hour classical Pilates certification in all the traditional Pilates apparatus and equipment with Deborah Harris, who was trained under Romana Kryzanowska and is the director of Premier Pilates and Yoga in Warren, NJ.  In addition, Carly has worked with many amazing Pilates experts including- Jay Grimes, Brooke Siler, Peter Fiasca, Siri Galliano, Edgar Tirado, and MeJo Wiggin. 

   

Aside from teaching Joseph Pilates classical method, Carly has created Yoga Sweat and Freedom, a fun fusion of Yoga, Pilates, and cardio kickboxing.     She also teaches various forms of yoga including Restorative Yoga, Yoga for Seniors, Vinyasa Yoga, Pilates & Yoga Fusion, Prenatal Yoga, Prenatal Pilates, Partner Yoga, Children’s Yoga, and Power Yoga with weights, and Chair Yoga with weights.    Although Yoga and Pilates are very different, Carly believes that they complement one another perfectly. Through practicing Yoga and Pilates, the body can be healed, nurtured, and can transform into a stronger, healthier being regardless of body type or age.
